I worked out with Mary on legs today. We upped the reps from the usual 12 to 15. As usual with her, we worked with no time limit. Oddly, with increased reps, I generated a new PR. I think I just had not worked on that one for a while.
Here's the workout. All weights are in lbs., and I report maxima. We did 3–4 sets of 15 for each exercise.
- Paramount leg press: 400. My max here is 450. We did 5 or 6 sets.
- Smith squat: 158. This is my max, but I only made 5 reps. I thought my quads were about to explode.
- Nautilus hip adductor with seat back lowered: 150. These hurt.
- Cybex seated leg curls: 140. My max is 150. Hard to get range on the last reps.
- Smith deadlifts: 178 (PR) on the fifth set.
What's your recovery time like for this sort of workout?

We'll see about recovery time. I did a legs workout mid last week, and it was clear I was not fully recovered on Sunday. We're scheduled to go again tomorrow.
